No surname on passport but present on LIU test certificate

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could advise me on it.

I dont have surname on my passport however I have used my surname in all other documents like bank statement, driving license, council tax bills etc.

I never had any issues in my previous tier-1 applications. And I put note in the Tier-1 extension application form that my degree has my Full name that was accepted during my initial Tier-1 application.

However I just been refused by Life in uk test center to give an exam due to the reason I registrered ID using my passport(no surname). And for postcode proof I showed my bank statement & UK driving license that had surname on it. So they refused me to give an exam because my name didnt match. They advised me to register my test using UK driving license that could be used for address proof as well.

However, in that case I would have my surname on the test certificate and not sure if could create an issue at the time of ILR. But I am wondering if I didnt have any issues during my Tier-1 application so I shouldnt have any issues now.

But please advise as adding the surname on indian passport is troublesome process.
