How soon can I come back to UK again?

I'm currently in UK on a student visa, which will expire in 30 Nov 2012. I expect to complete my study in Oct 2012. Let say I will go back to my home country on 29 Nov 2012.

According to UK Border Agency, I do not need a visa if I'm coming to the UK for a short visit (up to 6 months). My question is after I go back to my home country on 29 Nov 2012, how long do I need to wait before I can come to UK for a short visit? For example, can I come back to UK one week after 29 Nov 2012?

I think you can visit as soon as you like if you have a good reason for this.
