Child's indian passport renewal issue-URGENT please

Hello,

I applied for my son's passport renewal in HCI london. They accepted the application and gave the date of 7th August for collection of passport.

I recently recieved the call from HCI london that my passport is not ready to be collected on 7th August due to the reason some details could not be verified on their database. Thus passport will be sent to Delhi where my son's passport was applied.

Now they cant confirm how much time it will take ...but they mentioned it would take atleast 1 month's time.

This is so frustrating...the person who was talking to me from High commission was so rude and didnt even mention his name or gave the call reference. Just mentioned my son's passport wont be ready.

I dont know what should i do now....

I would highly appreciate any advise on it. I was planning to do my ILR soon so now I am thinking what i should do because I really dont know how much time they are going to take for giving back the passport now.
