Naturalisation as a son of an EEA national?

Post by ibraa » Mon Aug 06, 2012 8:21 pm

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask for the help of the experienced forum members.

My mother (EEA national) will apply to be naturalised as a British Citizen (AN), and I would like her to include me in her application.
I am also an EEA national, spent more than 6 years continuously in the UK,
but I have 2 main concerns:

1. I am over 21 (23 years old), in full-time education.
Will I have to show that I'm financially dependant on my mum?

If so, what sort of evidence they accept?

2. I don't have CSI (Comprehensive Sickness Insurance), but could that be disregarded as I would apply on the basis that my mother was practising her treaty rights for the period requested or will this cause any problems?

I would really appreciate your help as at the moment I'm quite concerned about these two things.

Thanks in advance![/list]

Could anyone at least point me into the right forum where I could get some help?

Thanks!
