Tier2 ICT to Tier2 General

Hiya,

I have been in UK from last 4 months on Tier2-ICT(short term) and if I need to change my employer i.e, moving from tier2 ICT to tier2 General whats the procedure?

Is it legaly possible?
Please let me know the expert advice.

You cannot switch from T2 ICT Short Term Staff to Tier 2 General in-country. You will have to leave the UK, wait 12 months until your present leave expires or is curtailed (the cooling-off period) and then apply for T2G entry clearance from abroad once you have been assigned a CoS.
