How can I get a tier 2 sponsorship

Post by kamaldeepbatra1 » Wed Aug 08, 2012 11:32 pm

Hi. I am on tier1 dependent visa & working with a company. I had disputes with my husband as he used to harrass me, did not allow me to hae access to my own bank account. I continued to do things as he threatened me to end the relation. He even threatened to beat me. As I am an Indian, I had cultural pressure to continue the relationship & do everything possible to continue the relationship. Finally, I gave up & separated & started living with a friend's family. My dependent visa is expiring in October, 2012. If I go back to India, he will get divorce in my absence. Moreoer, I do not have any financial support if I lose my job here. If I file a case of domestic violence, I do not have the evidence to prove that. My company does not have a sponsorship licence for sponsoring my Tier 2 visa. Can I get sponsorship from a different company & continue my present job?

The simple answer is no. Sponsorship is tied to an employer. So you can't get sponsorship from one employer and work for another.

Have you looked at whether you qualify to work in the UK under any of the other immigration categories available? If not it would be worth doing so: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... n/working/
