ILR due in September 2012 on 10 Year basis

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. So I am looking for some assistance and guidance please?

1. What documents I have to submit I have read few topics few have sent docuements and few didn't so I don't think its mandatory....am I getting this right?

2. Few wrote No Gap and Few wrote Gaps...what does this actually mean because I had applied for student visa extension in Aug2007 and It was rejected with a date on passport as Oct 2007, passport received in Nov, appealed to UKBA AIT in Nov, attended court in Feb, Appeal was accepted and I was granted with a student visa in May 2008(Incountry) the time between from Aug2007 to May2008 will be considered as a Gap please confirm?

3. I have been In and out of the country several times in last 10yrs however didnt stay more than 37days at any occassion, is this ok?

4. I was Student 7yrs 5months + 2yrs PSW + 5months Tier2 (7.5 + 2 + .5 = 10) will this ok?

5. Finally do you guys suggest I should approach solictor due to rejection in 2007 or apply personally?

Please help me with your answers?
