EEA family permit su mitotead

Post by Roflazo » Thu Aug 09, 2012 2:26 pm

Hello everyone!
I have been reading the forum for a while and has been very helpful to complete my EEA FP. I just returned from the application center. Here is a list of the documents submitted and our situation:

I met my wife on september 10 and began to live together since November 10. I moved to her place so there is not a official record of this unitil September 11. We got engaged on may 11 and got married 2 weeks ago and applied for the permit just yersterday. I am afraid that they will think that the application date is to close to the wedding, but the wedding date was set on September 11, much before knowing that we could go to the uk. I presented all invoices of the wedding, including the contract for renting the room for the wedding (26 sep 11). We had a wedding with 70 guests and I put a lot of photos of the wedding. We have been living together since nov 10 and never been separated, I already been in her EEA country for 2 years with a valid residence permit. We also have done a lot of trips in Europe, including the uk and a big 6 weeks trip to Argentina, brazil and Mexico. We include a letter stating that she will use her treaty rights and that we will be going together to the uk.

What do you think??

I think you'll just need to wait and see what happens. Don't worry about it too much until they get back to you.
