Tier 2 ILR - completing SET (O) Form, Current Rate of Pay

Post by chethan » Fri Aug 10, 2012 8:31 pm

I am applying for an ILR (WP + TIER 2 ICT, completed 5years 5months) on 13 Aug at solihull(luckily got it in the last minute, and putting some final touches and paper work)

I could manage to get Emp Ref Letter stating it as it required for tourist visa, and it states
" Chethan is an employee of ABC working with us since (joining date of Comp in India). His designation is BLABLABLA (Indian Desgination equivalent to my exp in comp). He is deputed on a assignment in UK since
Feb 2007 and his services are still required in the foreseeable future. He is paid at appropriate rate and his salary is £xxxxx(annual gross, this is based on both Indian and UK salary componets)."
"

Need some inputs regarding the below queries:

1. There is no SOC code on Ref letter, however I am having the old certificate of sponsorship(COS) in which it states the SOC related to my job. Is it ok to submit COS as supporting doc for SOC? Can we convince Case worker?

2. Also desgination(Job Title) in the Ref letter is different to the Job Title set by the UKBA for my soc code. Will there be any problem with this?

Need your inputs in completing Form Section 5: HOME AND FINANCES
3. For Current rate of pay (as stated in Codes of Practice - Hourly rate or annual salary), Should I be stating my annual gross salary which is above the rate of pay set by UKBA for 2132 soc code? or the one £30,100 set by UKBA?

4. Also the payslips are being issued electronically. When I requested for authorisation, they ahve just printed it on Company letter head.Should we get it authorised properly with stamp and signature? Will there be any problem.

Please provide your inputs/suggestions for the above queries. Your time and help is very much appreciated.

Best Regards
Chethan
