visa expiry / overstay

Post by colekata » Sat Aug 11, 2012 2:07 am

My visa is expiring on 18th of August. If I return on 19th or 20th then will I be considered as overstayed?

thanks for your help.

You have a 28 day period of grace from the date your leave expires before any bans or sanctions will be applied.

But yes you will be an overstayer on those days because you would have overstayed your time limits.

I donot know if you will gain anything from staying but a stamp of overstaying will pop up everytime you apply for foreign visa and in some visa forms there are column where you need to specify if you have overstayed.

Not worth it
