Salary Threshold For Long Term ICT

Post by dr_shiva29 » Sat Aug 11, 2012 8:44 am

Hi,

One of my friends has been given an opportunity to move to the UK on ICT. His annual salary is fixed at 30,500 GBP and his company is stating that he will get a long term ICT visa.

This friend of mine browsed through the various sites and found out that for long term visa you need to have minimum 40,000 GBP and feels his company is not giving right information. He is not interested in moving to the UK on short term visa.

Can any of the experts advise if he can move to UK on ICT Long Term with a salary of 30,500 GBP?

the minimum for T2 ICT Long Term Staff is £40k (but this includes allowances as well as salary), or what is stated in the codes of practice for the job, whichever the higher.

For examples of what can be taken into account in way of accommodation allowance see paragraphs 42-48 of the T2 policy guidance.
