Employer name on bank statements differ, problem?

Hi, on my bank statements the salary transactions from the same employer are shown with minor differences in the name e.g., 6 Months as "abc limited" and 6 months as "abc technologies a/c". Will this be a problem, or an explanation in the covering letter suffice?

I don't think there is any problem. I also have same situation and I got a letter from my employer saying that both are sister companies or subsidiatry firms. so you can also do that.

This would only be an issue with regard to a Tier 2 application, where confirmation were needed that you work for a particular sponsor and both income sources were from one and the same employer.

In my case our payroll is outsourced to another company. So the payslip had my company name and the bank statement have the outsourced companies name...

Had no problem during Tier 1 Extension. I went for PEO and no questions were asked.
