Debit card payment on window

Can people share their experiences ,problem and suggestions about payment modes on window.I am specially concerned how to pay huge amount for the family of 5 to 6 people.Will it be paid by 1 card or can be paid by another card half and half?

As far as I am aware you can only use one card. May be you can pay with a banker's draft which is acceptable at the following PEOs

Belfast, Croydon, Liverpool, Sheffield and Solihull
