Applying For A PPS No. from abroad..

Hi according to the social warfare website "If you are non-resident or fall within the exceptional category then personal attendance at one of our network of local offices is not necessary. " http://www.welfare.ie/EN/Topics/PPSN/Pa ... Apply.aspx "

Does anyone have any experience doing this? I ask because there is conflicting information on the website which says all applicants must attend an office and have evidence of an address in Ireland.

Thanks

I don't think that personal attendance is not required. my experience is that you have to go to the office in person, fill out the application form + the required docs.

In my opinion, this link referrers if you are working for an irish company abroad and they require ur PPS number for salary purpose, in this case the company could represent you but i am not sure 100%

Presence is required in order to apply for a PPS number. Proof of address (utility bill) and passport are required.
