Converting Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 Dependent Visa

Hi,

Me and my wife both have Tier 2 ICT Workpermit Visas for UK. My Visa is for 2 years and my wife's is for 1 year.

Before completion of my wife's visa, can she convert her Tier 2 ICT visa to Tier 2 Dependent visa? Will she have to go to India for that or can she convert the visa while she stays in UK? Also, can she work while she is on Tier 2 Dependent visa if she gets one?

She can only apply for the PBS Dependant visa from abroad and yes, once she is back in the UK as a PBS dependant she can work.

Is PBS dependant visa is same as dependant for Tier2 ICT ?

Does that mean that she has to go back to India to apply for PBS dependant visa ? Please adivse.

PBS Dependant = Points Based System Dependant, it covers all tiers. The guidance is here:
