Applying 1 month before end of my 5year Qual Period -update

Post by jack902 » Sun Aug 12, 2012 10:48 pm

Dear fellow forum members

Some of you may remember my unsuccessful ILR attempt at Solihull in March 2012 due to being outside of the UK for over 90 consecutive days

I will have 5 full years of continuous period in the UK on 23 October 2012

Can I apply 28 days/1 month before this date? ie. to make my application on say 25 September 2012?

My key info:
Entered UK on work-permit in Jan 2007
Outside UK between 20/06/2007 to 22/10/2007 (compassionate grounds)
On Tier 1 since Aug 2008
Extended in Aug 2011
Current Tier 1 valid until Aug 2013

All settlement applications (no matter which category the applicant currently holds) can be submitted 28 days before the end of the residence period.

Hi Jack,

Understand that you have had a refusal of your ILR application for the leaves that you had even for compassionate reasons.

Could you please share with me the history of your earlier refusal?

Thanks!

Hi, you should be able to click and read my earlier posts.
I was outside UK for over 90 consecutive days due to family illness abroad.
Caseworker immediately rejected the application due to this fact.
