UK time limit. Please help me with advice)

Hello Everyone!
I am a bit confused with a new rule for students, even though it looks quite obvious))
So....I came to the UK for the first time in 2007, to study in International Foundation Programme for a year (which is NQF 3). After it, I studied BA degree (3 years). Now I want to apply for MA degree. My only question is ...will the time that i spent in IFP calculated towards 5 year limit? Or IFP goes under the rule of below degree?
