ILR & then FLR(M) - is cohab docs required ?

Post by BACK_TO_GB » Mon Aug 13, 2012 5:15 pm

Hi all,

going through the FLR(M) form with my wife as she needs to apply for Spouse Visa, after I hopefully get my ILR (based on 5 year Tier1) this week, Christ willing.

Timeline:

We got married in Jan 2012. (Civil Registry abroad)
Apllied for wife dependant Tier1 Visa in Feb
Visa obtained in March 2012
WIfe entered Uk in June 2012
(Hence Living together since June 2012)

Next week applying for ILR (myself)
Few days after: Wife applying for FLR(M) ( Or FLR(O) if asked to!)

now-- since we married in Jan but only started living together in June when wife joined me in UK.. is that likely to cause any kind of questions from CW? as in why or how come?

to that end, shall we provide extra marriage proof apart from marriage certificate? (which is certified by the ministry of forien affairs & british embassy) in home country.

Do we need to show wedding photos, etc? or is that only required for wife ILR?

reasons am asking is because the questions on FLR(M) are so specific... like how long have you lived together? and when did your relationship start? where & when have you met? etc,,,, reading between the lines, they are trying to establish bogus marriages... but could the fact that wife joined me in uk a bit later than our wedding date cause unnecessary doubts in CW mind?

Cheers,
