Query reg Pay dates

Post by sadagopan84 » Wed Aug 15, 2012 11:06 am

Hi all,
I am in Tier 1 visa which is valid till 4th Jan -13. I got my visa on jan-11 and my renewal is due this year end. I am currently employed as full time with a small consultancy company. I was going through my payslips and bank statements to check if the amount credited is as per my pay slip and I noticed that the date of actual payment and date mentioned in my payslip don’t match but the amounts match . The following is the last 11 months pay date that i received Sal and date in payslip

Month Actual date Sal slip Date
Jul-12 27th 27th
Jun-12 27th 28th
May-12 23rd 23rd
Apr-12 26th 27th
Mar-12 27th 28th
Feb-12 27th 29th
Jan-12 26th 27th
Dec-11 28th 28th
Nov-11 26th 28th
Oct-11 27th 28th
Sep-11 26th 28th

I just need to know if this will create an issue while I submit my visa renewal. Thank you everyone.

well this should not create any issue, as this is a normal process you wont get paid on the same day as you received the pay slip.

IMHO, as long as the amount is same, there should not be an issue.

as I have the similar scenario with my payslips.

can any one else please share their experiences ?

payslip date and paydate will be different so not to worry as long as the amount shown in bank statement is same as that shown in payslip you would be OK...

Just out of curoirsity does your payslip shows the Pay Date??????most of the company do show that...

    Hi gaurav76.5,
Thank you for your reply. Yes the paydate and the clander month( ie month 1 for jan ) is also mentioned in the payslips. I am not sure about other companies but mine does.

Hi askhan, Thank you for a quick reply. I am trying to get a letter form my company along with amended payslips meanwhile.

Can anyone please let me know if a letter from my company showing the breakdown of each months pay will be fine instead of payslips? This is just in case my company dont agree to correct the payslips. Thank you

Thank you gaurav76.5. I did not know that HMRC would issue any such letter. I will try that as well.
