Tier 1 dependant entering UK with nearing visa expiry

Post by msathish » Wed Aug 15, 2012 5:59 pm

My wife and son are planning for a short visit to India and come back to UK after two weeks. My visa(as well as my dependants) is expiring in early Oct2012 and I(main applicant) have applied for extension already in June2012 by post and awaiting result. If my dependants are coming back to UK in the second week of Sep2012, will they face problems at port of entry into UK? Is there any unwritten rule that requires dependants to have minimum days before their visa expires to enter into UK? I hope that I will get the decision from UKBA by early sept.

Thanks in advance.

Sathish.

There is nothing to prevent them returning shortly before their leave expires.
