Dilema!

Post by whenidie » Thu Aug 16, 2012 12:32 am

Hi,
My husband applied for ILR in the mid of August and is in receipt of a letter stating it is being processed. I am on Tier 1 dependant visa which is due to expire in the last week of october. I was not eligible for ILR as yet.

Considering the fact that it takes some where between 12 to 24 weeks for ILR status to be granted, what should I do if it does not arrive in time and my visa expires. In that case what options do I have? Will I have to go back to my home country and apply for a new entry clearance visa once my husband gets ILR?

Thanks for help in this regard!

you have to apply FLR (m) with a covering letter saying that UKBA should hold your case until your husband case is not decided.

Thanks for your kind reply! That seems to be the best option in present time.

If any one has to suggest some thing else, it will be appreciated.
