ILR postal or PEO ? [ >90 days]

Post by girish1428 » Thu Aug 16, 2012 2:36 am

Hi,

I've got an appoint for my ILR on 24th Aug 2012 at the Croydon PEO.
But after reading some of the posts here, I've come to know that the chances of your application getting rejected are quite high if you go to PEO (Esp. Croydon and Sheffield) compared to postal.
The appointment is just after 7 days and I am now having 2nd thoughts about the PEO thing. My current visa is valid until Dec 2013.

Time spent out of UK - 175
However out of that 175, 121 days are consecutive.

Reason for 121 consecutive days out of UK:

1. Employer send me to India according to rotation policy after 2 years.
2. Though I resigned, I had to serve a notice period of 2 months (51 days)
3. I got married during this period as well.

Can someone please help me decide on how to go about this, please (postal or PEO)? The reason I ask this question is because some people on the forum have suggested that there are rejections if your case is not straight forward if you go to Croydon PEO.

Kind Regards,
Girish
