traveling on 2nd passport

I am currently applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain, as I have lived in the UK for 5 years under a UK Ancestry Visa – which expired after my application for Indefinite Leave to Remain.

I wish to know if I will void my visa application if I travel abroad on another passport. The passport I would travel on is an Australian Concurrent Passport that I received after my visa application. The concurrent passport is a 12 month valid 2nd passport issued by the Australian authorities to allow us to travel while our existing passport are being processed. When I was issued with the passport I was told to check with the UK Boarder Agency to ensure my visa application is not impacted. However no response

I’ve been told if I’m issued a holiday visa on re-entry I will void my existing visa. However I’ve also been told I can be issued a “code 1” visa on the basis that my application is still pending and I’m still on my existing visa.

Can anyone confirm or share their experiences?

Hi, just seeing if you had any luck finding out more details on this? I am in a similar situation at the moment - extending a 2 year spousal visa and looking at getting a concurrent passport
