I am due for indefinite by next year but I was out of uk initially when I came for about 2 years due to some unforeseen reasons.
Please what advice can the forum expert you give me?

What is your current immigration status and when did begin to live in the UK on that status?

You would be eligible to apply for ILR after five years unbroken residence. Absences of more than 90 continuous days or 180 cumulative days would break residence (depending on the reason). You need to look for date in your past from which time you unbroken residence (short absences being permitted) and count five years from that time. If you delayed your entry into the UK by two years then one must assume that you will not be eligible for ILR until 2015.

Does it now imply that I will do another 2 year extension until 2015 when i will be eligible for ILR?

Well that depends on your absences. I'm guessing you will need to extend based on the very little information you have provided (and have yet to confirm). When did you enter the UK and have you been absent for long periods since that date of entry? I assume you have already made one extension.

So count from the date you returned to the UK.

It will be the same number of years that was given for your first extension.

I went for 2nd extension but got only for 2 years even though i was given 3 year extension .... i should have shown the case worker the rules ... but problem is there is no mention of "all" or "more than one" extension

The extension period varies depending on the situation,

245CB. Period and conditions of grant
(a) Leave to remain will be granted for a period of 2 years, to an applicant who has, or was last granted, leave as a Tier 1 (General) Migrant under the Rules in place before 6 April 2010.
(b) in all other cases, leave to remain will be granted for a period of 3 years.

Please read the Tier 1 General application form guidance to determine which one applies to you. Page 36 clearly explains the transitional arrangements for those who were issued a HSMP approval letter at different times when Tier 1 General was introduced in a phased manner in 2008.
