selection criteria, spouse entry and employment for the HSMP

Post by jteh » Sun Nov 05, 2006 12:06 pm

Hi,
I am considering applying for the HSMP soon and just had a couple of questions.

One of the selection criteria is past earnings and a form of evidence for this are pay slips. My company distributes pay slips via email and as such I don't have a hard copy of them to send as evidence. Will a print out of them be ok or will I need to make arrangements with my current place of employment to provide me with hard copies?

On a similar vein, another selection criteria is past experience. Is there any particular format that the evidence for this needs to take eg job description, printed on company letter head etc

Finally, I have recently been married and just wanted to know a few things regarding what needs to be done so that my wife can join me in the UK and seek employment.
I have read in some places that my wife/dependent would need to obtain entry clearance and leave to enter as my dependent in order to undertake employment. Is this true and what needs to be done for her to obtain clearance and leave to enter as my dependent? After I get approved for HSMP, does she need to do anything more?

many thanks
