Hi All,
I applied for permanent residency under the EEA regulations by using an EEA4 application. According to the information on the UKBA website that by law an EEA application, including EEA2 and EEA4 have to be determined in six months since the application submission date. Do you think the UKBA would comply with the time scale or if it is likely to take longer than 6 six months for them to determine?
The COA says "Thank you for your application of xxx". The xxx should be the date when the application was physically received by the UKBA, or the date when the application is uploaded on their case management system?
My application was sent on 20th April 2012 by special delivery and according to the royal mail tracing system it was delivered to the UKBA on 21st April. The COA says "Thank you for your application of 15th May". I am thinking to write to the UKBA asking for an amendment of the date to 21st April, but not sure if this will distract their attention on determining my application or if it will impact their decision negatively?
I heard the fax number of the department dealing with an EEA2 and EEA4 application is 01512132909, is it correct?
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Many thanks
Paolo
