Points on licence and fine during tier 1 extension

Post by itunuadelayo » Sat Aug 18, 2012 1:07 pm

Hello,
Please would really appreciate your comments and advice on this: we sent our tier 1 extension application by post three weeks ago and my husband has just received points on his driving licence and fine from the court for an accident he had.
Want to know if we need to inform the home office about this and how to go about this.

Your kind advice would be really appreciated.

I know it needs to be declared but we already sent the extention form before he got the points. Want to know how to contact the home office to let them know now that he has these points.

Thank you Manka. Just wanted to know if we had to fill a change of circumstance form to notify them of the conviction while the application is been processed.
Thanks for the help.

declaring the traffic offence most probably wont affect the outcome of application & this happened after you applied so rest easy

By the time you sent your application, there was no such officially sent fine or points stuff recorded and brought in your notice. So you guys are not liable to inform them as this happened later.

Even if they will run a check, they can find this thing out that you received this notice later after your application submission.
