Tier-2 (general) extension

Hi Just want to know Does Tier-2 (General) extension need to show

3 months maintanence of £900.As i am working for an A-rated Sponsor

working for the same employer and just extending My Tier-2 Visa.

If you COS shows that your sponsor will maintain you it's not necessary.

For main application, see in p35 of 61 policy guidance:

145. You will be awarded 10 points if:
• you currently have entry clearance, leave to enter, or leave to remain as a Tier 2 skilled worker; work permit holder; Jewish Agency Employee; Member of the Operational Ground Staff of an Overseas-owned Airline; Minister of Religion; Missionary; Member of a Religious Order; or Representative of an Overseas Newspaper, News Agency or Broadcasting Organisation; or

Further for dependents, in the PBS the application form, section M, Question M3 (p30), it is the second option and you are asked to move to section O skipping section N on maintenance, implying that extension applicants dont have to re-satisfy requirements.
