Spouse Visa troubles! :((((

Post by Pincer49 » Sun Aug 19, 2012 6:39 pm

Hello everybody,

I am new to the idea of forums so please bear with me as I don't quite get how to use it :(

I'm an Indian girl living in the U.K. from Oct '2009 on a student visa. I finished my degree this june and my visa expires in Oct '2012.

I am happily married to my husband (he is a british citizen) since sept '2011.
I want to apply for a spouse visa but our annual income is £15,000 instead of the minimum income required which £18,600.
And also my husband has used all his overdraft facility which was £1600.
I want to know if somehow we managed to get the desired income before applying for the visa, can we still successfully get it with the overdue overdraft showing in his bank statements?

Thank you for your help in advance
:)

Yes you can - but keep in mind that you are required to show that income level for the previous 6 months.

So it magically appearing in September or October won't help. You needed the income level 4 months ago.
