FLR M Section 12 Partner Passport

Post by spiyaa » Mon Aug 20, 2012 5:46 am

Hi
I got my ILR last month after HSMP+Yier 1, now applying for my wife FLR M postal application.

My questions are:

1. Is it necessary to send my passport with her application or a certified copy of Passport is enough. as in section 12, page 35 or ILR approval letter is enough?

2. Do they my need Biometric card aswell? as in section 12, page 35

A prompt reply will be highly appreciated as Im going to send her application tomorrow.

Thanks in advance

If you need your biometric card/passport for travel within the next 3 to 4 months, you should not send them with the application.

However you should supply a certified copies of both. Also add in a cover letter to mention why you need your originals i.e. company travel etc.

Although I do not have first hand experience of this, I would assume it should be perfectly fine to supply certified copies.
