Original copies AND photocopies?

Post by GrahamD85 » Wed Aug 22, 2012 10:25 am

My fiancee and I are applying for ILR as Unmarried Partners next week at Liverpool PEO. It should be a very straightforward application as we have tons of letters/documents to show and everything else that's required, including a letter from her boss showing the time spent outside the UK on business trips (65 days total over the last two years and each trip no more than 10 days). Bank statements and payslips are ready too.

The only thing I'm confused about is this statement on the guide for form SET(M): "All supporting evidence must be in the form of original documents. In addition you should provide photocopies of each of these documents including any pages of your passport(s) that contain personal details, visas or immigration stamps (foreign or UK). These do not have to be notarised
by a solicitor or legal representative."

I'm sure we didn't photocopy any of our letters showing we lived together when we had the PEO appointment for FLR(M), but maybe that's different.

Should I be photocopying every document we take with us to the appointment?
