Name on the bank statments

Please help!

Now I see that all my bank statements do not show my fool name but just initial of my first name and full surname.

Example instead of:

JOHN SMITH

My statements have:

J SMITH

Is this going to be a problem????

It shouldn't be a problem as far as I know. This is a common practise by most of the banks.
