UKBA already has my biometrics. Do I have to give again?

Post by yggdrasil » Sun Aug 26, 2012 9:18 am

Hi everyone,

I have a very late issue Tier 1 General visa and I had to give my biometric details in person in my home country when I applied. I had to have fingerprints and photos taken, be measured, etc. The same is true for my wife. Each time I enter the UK they verify my fingerprints against those on file electronically. Do you know if they will require me to make a new appointment in country to give them all again, or do they simply use the ones they already have? Something tells me they will make me go again.

Thanks!

You have to give them every time you apply. They need to verify it is the same person applying.

Thanks
