Tier 2 and Dependent Visa

Hi,

I am currently with Tier 1 and soon will be applying for Tier 2. My employer will be providing me the COS. My partner who is on tier 1 dep visa as of now will be applying for tier 2 dep along with me. What are the documents we need to furnish to support our applications?

And does this switch from Tier 1 to Tier 2 impact my ILR as I see, I will be short of 15 days (near about) to complete my 5 years in UK at the end of this Tier 2.
