Hi... I am Indian citizen and on HSMP Visa for last four and half years now... I am going to apply for ILR in month of Feb 2013.... I have son who is just 2 months old now. Do I need apply for his indian passport or can I wait till I get my ILR and then directly apply for his British passport.

Please help

If you have no travel plans, then you don't need his Indian passport.

Wait for you to get your ILR, then first register him as a British Citizen using form MN1 and once you receive his British Citizenship Reregistration Certificate, you can then apply for his first British Passport.
