Bank Statement and Passport questions.

Post by Studentforever » Mon Aug 27, 2012 4:42 pm

Hello All,

For the tier 4 visa, the student is required to have a certain amount in the bank for 28 days. However, for one week i have about £1000 less. Will my visa be rejected? :/ I have received a £12000 scholarship from LSE. Will that make a difference to my application too?

And the bank statement needs to be converted into pounds. Do I have to do that manually - and write the amount with pen next to the value?

Thirdly, it is required that I attach my previous passports. Do I only attach those that were issued within the last 10 years?

Thanks.

Yes.

No. UKBA will not provide you any favour for this. You just don't need to show that amount as tuition fee in bank, if it counts as first year fee.

You need to write the closing balance in pounds sterling. UKBA uses the official exchange rate on the OANDA website, which can be found at www.oanda.com/convert/classic.
