travel insurance original

Post by rk_2011 » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:20 am

Anyone here recently applied for french visa through TLS contact in UK. Here they say on the list of documentations:
Insurance, original
1. The travel insurance should be:
• Valid for Schengen area if you apply for short stay visa
• Valid for France if it's required in the document list and you apply for long stay visa
• Valid for DROM/CTOM according to your itinerary
2. The insurance must cover medical fees and repatriation costs of a minimum 30,000 euros
3. The insurance coverage should cover the whole period of your stay. More information.
Insurance, copy
Only include the insurance terms and conditions pages mentioning all of the above information.
I bought my travel insurance online and they sent me the certificate of insurance through e-mail. But what do they mean above by "original" insurance? I found the certificate of insurance doesn't have a letter-head but states everything that needs to be stated. Furthermore, I have the policy documents that appear on company-letterhead.
