Tier 2 (General) Application form hiccup

Post by mansoorash » Tue Aug 28, 2012 10:32 am

Hello everybody,

The answer to this question may sound obvious, but bear with me as I'm still fairly new to all this. Basically, my old passport was expired so I had it renewed from my country's embassy situated in London.

On the certificate of sponsorship (COS), there was a question stating "Place of issue of passport", we added London as the answer to this question.

Now there is a similar question in the visa application form and it's "Country of Issue and Issuing authority". Now I am not sure whether I need to write London-UK or my country here as the country of issue.

I have checked my passport and it does state "Issuing Authority" but not country of issue.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Oh God, it's hard being an immigrant.
