Hi members,

I have few questions and hoping to get an answer.

I am currently on company sponsored workpermit. I Came into the country on 29th June 2008. My 5 year visa is coming to an end next year. How many days should i be in the country before applying PR especially over the 12 months before applying for PR.

Also what is the criteria for my wife if she has to apply for PR? Does she have to be in the country for 5 years?

Is there a validity for "Life in the UK" test? Can i take it now even though i will be applying for PR next year?

your wife (or any dependants can apply for indefinite leave at the same time with you, they dont need to have spent 5yrs is you were on workpermit
