Biometrics taken for Fiance visa - needed again for FLR (M)?

My wife's biometrics were taken by UKBA in Latvia for her fiance visa application 6 months ago and I am wondering whether this will speed up our FLR (M) processing time? One of the questions on the form is have they been taken before...

or do we still have to wait for anotger biometrics appointment

any ideas?
