team application. shall i go back to own country?

firstly many many thanks if u can provide any information or help.....

my situation is:
i have a business partner who is in china.
he can meet all the requirements but have never been aboard before.
i am in UK now holding the PSW visa.
we would like to apply entrepreneur visa as a team.
shall i go back to china to apply, with him together?

one solicitor told me have to, the reason is we share the same case number, that one case can not be processed by two countries.
but another solicitor told me no need to do so. i can apply here and he can apply it in china.
i am so confused,its really a big hassle.

can anyone tell me the truth or provide any detail of how to apply in this situation?

You can each apply from your current individual locations. Are you aware that because your other team member is not a PSW migrant applying from inside the UK, the amount of funds you need to show as a team for this application will be 200K?

58.If you have formed an Entrepreneurial Team with another applicant, the documents must confirm that the funds are available to both team members. Your Entrepreneurial team member must also qualify to use the same amount of investment if the total amount available to your entrepreneurial team is £50,000 or more. If the other team member does not also qualify for this level of investment, the total amount available to the team must be at £200,000 or more.

yes wo do plan to apply visa of 200,000

so, each of us apply from the current location.
how do they know we are a team? i mean, two visa departments in UK and China.
or is there any reference for this? please.....
