Renewal of a 2.5 year visa under the new system

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone could help me. My wife has applied for a spouse visa and we are looking to bring her over on 21st January 2013. If we get a decision on the visa say 01st September 2012 would we have an issue if she came over 4 months and 21 days after the visa start date?
Would they question this when we look to renew the visa after the 2.5 years have elapsed from the start date on the visa?
