Tier 1 Extension + College Closed down

Dear All,

My Tier 1 General Extension is due in Sep and I just have realised that college from I completed my PGD has been closed down for some reason.

I have had points claimed and awarded for that PGD in my initial Tier 1 Visa + I have had PSW stamped on same PGD. My worry is, would that be an issue for my extension?

Has anyone ever faced the same situation? If yes, what was the outcome?

Any input will be very helpful and much appreciated!

P.S My PGD was from London International College.

Do you know why the college was closed down?

I have no idea I am afraid, I didn't even realise that it has been closed down until this morning.

if it was closed down due to being a dodgy college giving out bogus qualifications then you may have difficulties as did former students of colleges such as BITE and CCL.

This if the point which is worrying me now, I have not idea why it closed down.

It was a legitimate medium size college when I attended my course back in 2007-2008 decent number of regular students offering variety of courses.

One thing that I am aware of is that they have had sponsor rating B which was upgraded to A after few months.

Another issue is that PBS gives me 0 points for that qualification?
