No Fee taken for Tier 2 visa

Post by snowy » Thu Aug 30, 2012 4:47 pm

I applied for a Tier 2 General Extension (in-country) on - 24th July 2012
I received acknowledgement letter 1 week later.
Payment Taken- NONE]

Used Visa Debit.
According to other peoples application they should have taken the application fee off my account already, but nothing has been taken.

I have not heard from them for a month. No payment and no biometrics letter. There should not be a problem with my application. It seems strange.

Any suggestions of what this could mean or who to contact?
Many Thanks

Did you do a paper application or an online one? Is this a switching application or an extension?

I think you should try to call UKBA helpline, although I can't see a convenient way to do this. May be try out the following link if you think this might be relevant:
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/about ... complaint/

Sorry, I don't know what else to suggest! Good luck!
