Tier One General + Dependent Checklist - Advice Please :)

Post by Kevvj » Fri Aug 31, 2012 1:05 am

Dear Seniors,

These are the documents I plan to take for my Tier 1 Extension at Birmingham...

MAIN APPLICANT

1- Tier-1 General Application Form
2- Passport
3- Photos (2)
4- Index with Tier 1 General Calculator Points Breakdown
5- Original Pay slips from my Employer (12 Months) (Print out salary statements from previous employer with company attestation)
6- Bank Statements for last 12 months showing salary credited
7- Bank Statement showing Funds maintenance for 90+ days
8- Letter of Current Employment
9- Masters Degree Certificate

DEPENDENT APPLICANT - Already in UK as dependent

1- Tier-1 General Dependent Application Form
2- Passport
3- Photos (2)
4- Marriage Certificate
  • Is there anything you think is to be added in the application?
  • Also, my wife is currently residing in the UK as a dependent and I have shown our marriage certificate initially for her first visa as dependent. Do I have to send the document again? (I ask as it's currently in India)... I have heard some say I don't need it as it is already proved...

Dear Seniors, your thoughts and expert advice is much sought after...

Thank you all for your time...

looks good. Just make sure these points -

i) Printed salary slips are signed and stamped by the employer. Make sure to provide a valid contact details of the employer in case UKBA wants to do some checks.

ii) Personal bank statement is original.

iii) Marriage certificate is original.

do dependent need seperate copy of bank statements?

Post by shyamite » Mon Sep 10, 2012 11:21 pm

Hi,

Help is really appreciate.
1. Does dependent need to show some proof for maintinace seperately? we are applying with appointment and I am showing maintinace/earning by single original statement. Now dependant need to take copy of my statements or how it will go?

2. Also Is it correct assumption that my 12 month original bank statement will be same proof for earning as well as mainitinace and I need not to produce copy of stetement for past 90 days?
Thanks for help

Regards,
Krishan
