Switching from Tier 1 (General) - Tier 2 urgent pls

I am currently on Tier – 1 (General) visa which expires on Nov 2012. This visa was issued in Nov 2010. The first time when I applied for Tier-1 I was able to satisfy the required points. While I was under Tier -1 (General) status I changed jobs and according to the Points Based system for Tier -1 (General) extension I have to be earning between 35,000 – 39,999 GBP, which I am not able to earn that through my current employer.
My current employer is willing to sponsor me and apply for Tier 2 (General) visa. However I have few doubts andwould be greatful if any one can solve my issues.
1) If my employer applies for Tier2 on my behalf (for three years) would I be able to apply for ILR(/PR) with (Tier 1 for 2 Years i.e Nov 2010 – Nov 2012) + (Tier2 for 3 Years Dec 2012 – Dec 2015)
2) If I can apply for ILR after above mentioned term, can I apply for ILR directly or is it a must that my company sponsor for the ILR as well.
3) While I’m under Tier 2 status and if my company wants to revoke that visa within the three year period , can they do that or can I safely say that they are obliged to fulfill the Tier 2 three year status(or contract)
4) If my company doesn’t want my services within the three year period can I apply for a job in a different company under the same Tier 2 visa?
5) If I decide to leave the company within the three year period what are my options to continue working in UK?
6) If I want to change my status back from Tier 2 to Tier 1 within the three year period can I do that?
7) If I can change my staus back from Tier 2 to Tier 1 would the points for my age be considered as the first time when I applied for Tier 1 (Nov 2010 i.e 29 Years) or would it be a fresh start? The reason why I ask is the salary/earnings band varies a lot if the age is above 30 years
8) What about dependant visa status? My wife is currently on Tier 1 dependant visa, if my status changes to Tier 2, are there any issues to change her status to Tier 2 dependant?
9) Can we apply for the dependant visa or is it a must that my company has to apply for the dependant as well.
10) can the tier 2 dependant work for any company?
I would appreciate if anyone can answer my doubts as soon as possible.
