Will I be able to offer a work permit to immigrants ?

Post by boldboy88 » Sun Sep 02, 2012 5:36 pm

Hello Friends,
I'm om PSW and planning to apply for Entrepreneur Visa. Will I be able to offer a work permit to people in India through the business I will form for Entrepreneur Visa? I guess the business needs some sort of License from UKBA to be eligible to offer a work permit to overseas workers? In that case, what are the requirements?

Thanks,
Dev

Yes, if you apply for a sponsor license and generally qualify for this. However, those workers can't be cited with regard to the two full-time employees that are necessary to score points for your immigration category. Those workers have to be settled in the UK.

Thanks for quick reply. Could you help me understand the requirements to get the Sponsorship License?

I'm confused. Have you set up your business yet? How do you know that you will be unable to recruit for these rules from the existing UK workforce, and how do you know that you will find these workers specifically in India?

Probably because they are his friends and/or family and that's where they live!
