Payments at Croydon PEO by VISA debit card?

I am going for Tier 1 extension at Croydon PEO and I am planning to pay by Lloyds TSB Bank's Visa Debit card.

In the application form, the listed DEBIT cards are Maestro, Delta and Solo.

Can I pay by Visa Debit card? Any previous experiences where Visa Debit card is accepted?

I have paid by VISA debit card at Croydon PEO in May 2011. It was accepted. I had called up my bank a couple of days earlier telling them to allow high value tx.

they do accept visa debit card but make sure to call you bank and let them know that you are going to make a transaction of that amount on the particular day so that they dont block that ..
