Hello Expert members.

Due to recent changes in Immigration rules, I am bit confused in switching my visa category.

My Tier 2 ICT short term visa issued on 5th Feb 2010 with expiry date of Jan 2011 and I arrived in UK on 20th Feb 2010, Later I extended my visa two times for next one year in 2011 and 2012. Now my visa is going to expire in Feb 2013.

Considering above situation, Can I able to switch my visa from ICT to General category in case I get sponsor ?

Please suggest me I should go with visa switch ? and is there any impact to ILR after five years ?
