British citizenship and PR enquiry

Firstly, many thanks to the forum moderators who have always offered prompt and accurate information.

I got my PR based on 10 year rule in Nov 2010, and my wife has been on spouse visa since March 2011.

As far as I understand, I'm eligible for BC now, and my wife will be able to apply for PR March 2013.

Could you please advise what would be the quickest way for both of us to gain BC and the most cost effective as well?

1. You apply for BC now.
2. Your wife applies for ILR in 2013
3. She applies for BC as your spouse in 2014...assuming she will have completed 3 years legal residence in the UK.
